Therefore, any of other variations (Memory Stick Pro, Memory Stick Pro Duo, Memory Stick Pro-HG, etc.) are not compatible with this voice recorder. I imagine there are still many devices out there using the original Memory Stick cards. I didn't try other cards (as I don't have such cards), however I checked the compatibility for my dictaphone on Sony's support webpage, and I recommend the same for you. [...] However, among the original Memory Stick cards, this is the fastest variation available. The official name is "Memory Stick High Speed Duo", and you have to pay attention to the product code, "MSH-M128A", as the product with N in the ending is slow speed... The camera will accept DUO but not PRO DUO Memory Sticks. Since this item was advertised as being for a Sony game system (PSP, I think), I wasn't 100% sure it would work. As an FYI, there is a great cross reference guide for cameras on the support section of Sony's website. As it turns out, this item works perfectly and I'm very happy with it. |
