Three years ago Jack Campbell separated from his wife. His daughter, Maggie, wrote him a letter expressing her anger and disappointment. She was 27 then, a finance professional, and maybe should have known better than to take sides in such a private matter, maybe not. Either way, they hadn’t spoken since, and her letter lay there beneath their relationship.
Now, three years later, with the stress of work and difficulties in her personal relationships, Maggie Campbell goes in search of her father, a search that takes her to Positano on the romantic Italian Amalfi Coast, a picturesque town where anything can happen.
What she finds in Positano might just change her life if she doesn’t leave it all behind to return to the comfortable safety of the life she already knows, fearful of the changes that can come from chance decisions.
Finding Positano is a charming story of love, reconciliation and possibility.

19 of 21 people found the following review helpful Reads like a high school writing project - Zero stars, This review is from: Finding Positano, A Love Story (Kindle Edition) This comes close to being one of the worst books I've ever read. The grammar, typing and editing errors were so distracting that I decided to count them. There were more than 50, though I probably missed some. How did this book ever get into print? Where were the editors and/or proofreaders? At times, I got the feeling the book was written by someone who did not have a real command of the English language. The story was predictable, more like a script for a chick flick that ultimately morphed into a romance novel. Zero stars would have been my preference. I doubt I will ever read another book by William James. 12 of 14 people found the following review helpful Romance with Incorrect grammer, By Genie M. Guynn (FORT WORTH, TX, US) - See all my reviews Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Finding Positano, A Love Story (Kindle Edition) This book is a romamce masquerading as a literary novel. So disappointing. There was some mild 'sightseeing', always interesting. But the grammer: "She laid on the bed"...TWICE!!! And there were lots of typos. Are these books not edited? 11 of 13 people found the following review helpful Not at all good!!, By Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Finding Positano, A Love Story (Kindle Edition) Hard to believe anyone with more than a fourth grade education would rate this five stars. Very poor editing, the grammer was terrible and the story was shallow and drab. Certainly not worth the time to read. |
